“Remember your words can plant gardens or burn whole forests down.”

This is a blank journal/sketchbook with 110 pages of 160 gsm 16k paper, perfect for either wet or dry media without ghosting. The front features a bronze-tone clasp closure.

This was commissioned by a group of friends as a gift, which is my favorite kind of book to make. Their request indicated a green motif.

The holographic endpapers was a last minute decision. I had originally planned on using green paper, but found the chosen sheet a little too bright, and didn’t go well with the book cloth or the cover. The holographic paper, however, matches the cover and lends a magical vibe to this journal.

To round out the look, I also used holographic HTV for the spine quotes. The colors shift ever so beautifully to shimmery greens and yellows in the light.
